Michael Ford Maier, 24, of Brush, died suddenly of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle crash near Akron on November 16, 2019.  He was born October 20, 1995, in Longmont, CO to Paul & Dana Maier.

Mike attended school in Sterling and later in Brush.  He loved farming and ranching with the family and working as a welder with his good friend, Ryan Whitney.  He was always quick with a smile and was ready to help anyone in need.

Mike is survived by his parents, Paul (Cynthia Fay) Maier and Dana (Steven) Williams; his sister, Kelley (Shane) Oxendine and his nephew, Jackson.  His Brush, Colorado family includes Travis (Papa) Blake, Alex (Raul) Sanchez, nephew Ian and niece, Remi; Traver Blake, Chant Blake, Kelsi Blake and Sean Kauffmann; his grandparents, Paul & Theresa Maier, Claude & Helen Adams, Sandra Adams & Doug Mills, and his "sweetheart", Ashley Martin, as well as many friends

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 10:30 AM at the Sale Ring at the Livestock Exchange (LEI) in Brush.  The service will conclude at the LEI.

Mike is loved by so many people and will be forever missed.
