Michael Joseph Schrum Sr., 61, of Fort Morgan passed away peacefully Monday, February 13, 2017, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO. Michael was born in Sterling, CO to Melvin Sr. and Dorothy Schrum.

Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved to play the lottery and lotto scratcher tickets.

He is survived by his siblings, Harold, Sharlet, Judy, Melvin, Lawrence, Alvina, Linda (Lon), Ronald, and Rex (Michelle); Brother-in-Law, Guy Yearous; his childrens mother, Ruth Nichols; three sons, Michael Schrum Jr. (Jennifer), Richard Schrum (Jessica), and Jeffery; grandchildren, Shelbi, Savannah, Brady, Courtney, Jeradiah, Kameron, Brianna, Makenzie, Brooklynn, Jake, and Addison.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Margaret.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 5-7 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 17, 2017, at 1:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens. Heer Mortuaries and Crematory entrusted with the arrangements.
