Mike Schuling, age 60, of Wiggins, Colorado, passed away on November 3, 2023. He was born on July 8, 1963, in Des Moines, Iowa, to the late Herman Schuling Jr and Inez Marie Schuling. Mike was known to friends and family as a servant of the Lord, always carrying his Bible with him. He earned the nickname "Preacher" during his 17-year tenure at Firestone before transitioning to a career in truck driving.

Having lived most of his life in Des Moines, Mike and his wife Rhonda recently relocated to Colorado to be closer to their children and grandchildren. They embraced the beauty of the mountains through activities such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. Mike had a joyful nature, a strong faith, and a great sense of humor. He had a talent for storytelling and brought laughter to those around him. Mike never hesitated to lend a helping hand, whether it was hanging Christmas lights, roofing his parents' garage and patio, or taking on any challenge alongside Rhonda.

Michael completed a 2 year inste at Fort Des Moines and Mike's commitment to his faith extended beyond his personal life. He made a ministry out of visiting prisoners and viewed the world as his mission field. Fearlessly approaching strangers, he touched countless lives with his unwavering faith.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Rhonda Schuling, and his children: Heather (Mike) Reynolds, Joshua Schuling, Liz (Ryan) Henry, Howie (Rosa) Morrell, Ashley Hennings, Nicole (Luis) Gomez, Brittany Perkins, and Tristen Wilson. He is also survived by his brother, Marshall (Terry) Schuling, and his sisters, Linda (Glenn) Larson and Cheryl (Ben) Anderson. Mike leaves behind 14 cherished grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and many extended family members.

Mike Schuling will be remembered for his deep faith, his selfless service to others, and his ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him. His impact will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Wiggins Community Church, 423 Dickson Street, Wiggins, CO 80654. A luncheon will follow the service.
