Michael W. Wiener, 47, of Brush, died Wednesday, August 30, 2006. He was born October 19, 2958, in Sauk Centre, MN to Robert & Mary Wiener. Mike married Melody Koehn in Belle River, MN on June 18, 1983. The moved to Brush from Minnesota nearly 22 years ago. Mike served in the US Navy. He was a life member of VFW #2551. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush, Pheasants Forever, and the Two-Cylinder Club. He enjoyed restoring old tractors, cars and pickups; hunting, traveling, and spending time with his son. He was an avid reader. Mike had worked as a maintenance man for Excel, the Morgan County Justice Center, Colorado Plains Medical Center, and Morgan Community College where he was employed for nearly 12 years. Survivors include his wife, Melody, and 1 son, Matthew, both of Brush; his parents, Bob & Mary Wiener of Miltona, MN; his brother, Randall of Cold Springs, MN; and his sister, Charlene Myren of Alexandrerea, MN. The rosary will be recited Sunday September 3, at 2:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will follow at 3:00 PM at the church located in Brush. The service will conclude at the church. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Heer Crematory.
