Louise South, 91, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010, at Valley View Villa nursing home. She was born July 7, 1919, in Vinita, OK. She was married to Raymond South. In 1981, the South family moved to Fort Morgan to be closer to family. She enjoyed baking, working in her flower garden, and writing letters to family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Glenn South of Oshkosh, NE, Earl South of Maybell, CO, Don and wife Gerri South of Fort Morgan, and Alice Lewis of Drake, CO; 12 grandchildren, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter, 2 sisters, 8 brothers, and her parents. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 14, 2010, at 11:00 AM at the Christ Church of Morgan County, 6th & Meeker Street in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan on Wednesday from 6 – 8 PM.
