Mildred "Mid" Teter. 91, life resident of Morgan County, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016, following a lengthy illness. She was born November 3, 1925, in St. Francis, KS, to Bill & Eva Stickley.

Mildred married Woodrow Teter on November 11, 1942, in Denver. Mildred worked with her niece at Southside Grocery Store for many years.

Survivors include her two son, Russell (Julie) Teter and Dennis (Marvella) Teter of Brush; 9 grandchildren, Brandy, who was raised by Mildred & Woody, Tiffany, Mike, Josh, Trevor, Mitch, Denise, Colette, & Jeremy all living in Colorado; 11 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Janice Baker of Denver and Virginia Teter of Brush; several nieces & nephews including a special niece, Joyce Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow; 1 daughter, Risa Ann; and a long time companion, Frank Hunt.

A graveside service and inurnment will be held Thursday at 9:30 AM at the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Mildred Teter Memorial Fund c/o the Heer Mortuary.
