Obituary

Misoon Bryan, 68, died Saturday afternoon at her home in Fort Morgan. She was born June 26, 1940 in South Korea, to Mr. and Mrs. Soon-Chang Yun. She married Mike Bryan and emigrated to the United States in 1966, living in Pueblo and the Denver area until retirement brought them to Fort Morgan in 2000. While in Denver, she owned and operated a gift shop for several years. She enjoyed gardening, including large rose gardens and a Korean vegetable patch. She recently joined the Star Athletic Club where she mastered the treadmill and other machines to the astonishment of other patrons. Survivors include her husband, of Fort Morgan, two daughters, Susan Bryan of Cortez, and Teresa Choi of Nashville, Tennessee; two brothers, Bruce Yun of Vancouver, B.C., Canada and Bong-On Yun of Seoul, South Korea; a sister, Soon-Hyun of Seoul, South Korea; two grandchildren, Mark and Alicia Zimmer, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Won-Jong Yun and Pan-Ok Yun of Korea, and a son, Paul L. Bryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 at the Saint Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am at the Highland Cemetery in Northglenn, CO. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Salvation Army. The Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
