Monica Lorae Mabey, 60, lifetime Morgan County resident, passed away Sunday, November 30th, 2014 at University Medical Center in Denver. She was born in Pueblo, CO on November 23, 1954, to Joseph and Eulalia Duran. Monica enjoyed crafts, Harley Davidson lifestyle, gardening, fishing, and nature. She was a very spiritual person, a Flowerchild. Monica loved the color purple, her dog "Tia" and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her two sons, Joel and Jason Ocanas, two brothers Jacob and Joseph, two sisters Paula and Jody, many grandchildren, and numerous relatives, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her Mom. There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Monica's life.
