Myrle W. Hosting, 96, of Fort Morgan, passed away Saturday night, April 13, 2013, at the Valley View Villa Nursing Home. He was born May 6, 1916 to Joseph G. & Mary A. (Coburn) Hosting in Waucoma, Iowa. Myrle married Rose Lenora Mills on January 6, 1945, in New Hampton, IA. They had four sons, Donald William, Mark Anthony (GA), Thomas Joseph and Reggie Frank. He lived in Iowa most of his life working on the family dairy farm and raising corn. They moved to Colorado from Florida in 1982 and to Fort Morgan in 1996. Myrle was a 'jack of all trades' in that aside from farming, he worked as a carpenter, truck driver, and worked in a lumber yard in Port Charlotte, Florida. After his retirement he worked part time as a handy man. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses he shared his hope and faith of Bible truths with others in the community through letter writing. He is survived by local family members; sons' Reggie and Tom, his wife Carol. Son Mark of Comer, GA. Grandchildren Natira, Joseph, Mikel, Steffanie, John, David, Tamara, Lance, And Margo. Great Grandchildren Morgan, Breana, Jessie, Eric, Tyler, Casey, Tristan, Lila, Autumn, Noah, Ellie, Kira, Alex, Julia. Sister In-law Vivian and Wayna. Myrle is preceded in death by his parents, brothers John, Claire, Francis, Henry, and sisters Ellen and Dorothy, wife of 60 years, Rose and one son, Donald. Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 18918 MCR 16 in Fort Morgan on Saturday, April 20th, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Services will conclude there.
