Obituary

Myrtle Margaret Linn Frasier, was reunited with her birth family in heaven, on the 21 st of January, 2016. Mrs. Frasier was born on the farm in Red Willow county, Nebraska on December 18, 1919. She was the eighth child of David Jesse & Elizabeth Jane (Brabham) Linn. On her birth, her dad held her for Lizzie to see and remarked, "Look Lizzie, number 8 and she is just as beautiful as the other children." A short 5 years later, cancer of the lip, took her father, leaving Lizzie and the children to manage without him. She was raised during the hard years of 1920's and the dirty 30's. They lost the farm and moved to town, Wetmore, KS. Upon graduation from high school, Myrtle attended a year of normal school and then taught at rural schools in Kansas for a few years before marrying Ralph Kerr, a childhood sweetheart, in 1942. They had one child, a daughter, Rebecca A. Kerr in 1944. They were later divorced.

Mrs. Frasier worked as a clerk for F.W. Woolworth for many years, first in Rawlins, WY and then in Topeka, KS. While in Wyoming she met and married Merle Bobby Frasier, a railroader in 1954. They had one son, Harvey Linn Frasier in 1955. They later divorced.

Mrs. Frasier married Glen Freeland and they moved to Fort Morgan where they operated a cab company for several years. She later moved to Loveland with the cab business. She moved back to Fort Morgan to enjoy time with her grandchildren. She volunteered at the Fort Morgan Library and Museum and also did some babysitting. She lived at the Riverview Apartments for many years, making lasting friendships while she was there. When it became necessary, she moved to assisted living at Eben Ezer in Brush.
