Nancy Lee Brownlee, 77, lifetime resident of Fort Morgan and Akron, Colorado, Nancy passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, CO. She was born in Fort Morgan on June 21, 1937 to Alexander and Goldie Propp. Nancy married William E. Brownlee, Jr. on November 14, 1952 in Fort Morgan. The Brownlee's lived in Fort Morgan until 1976 when they moved to Akron where they currently reside. Nancy was an active member of the Akron DOES and the Akron Elk's Lodge, where she worked and enjoyed many friends till her passing. Nancy enjoyed crocheting, baking, gardening, bowling and her pets. She loved spending time with her friends, family, husband, children and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, William E. Brownlee of Akron; son, Bill Brownlee and wife Jeanne of Peoria, AZ; daughter, Patty Brownlee and her husband Fazil Cakmak of Belmont, MA; and three grandchildren, Neyla Cakmak, Jenna and Alex Brownlee. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Sue Brownlee, sister, Dolores Hamann, and her parents. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
