NANCY ELAINE HARBERT, 65, of Brush, died Sunday afternoon, January 11, 2009 at the North Colorado Medical Center Hospice Unit in Greeley. She was born in Brush on February 12, 1943 to Jeptha & Vera (Sherer) Claflin. She married Raymond Harbert in 1961 in Last Chance. At the time of her death, Nancy was employed at the Walgreens store in Fort Morgan. Mrs. Harbert enjoyed bowling, playing softball, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Ray Harbert of Brush; three sons, Charles Harbert of Brush, Dean Harbert of Thornton, and Scott Harbert of Denver; five sisters, Kathleen Ely and Betty Gish, both of Brush, Jean Wiltfang of Wray, and Barbara Cunning and Pat Turner, both of Arizona; two brothers, Wayne Claflin of Brush and Lyle Claflin of Boise, ID. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Joe Claflin. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 15th at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
