Nancy
Mcdougall
Aug 26, 1951 — Jul 12, 2026
We are deeply saddened to share the loss of Nancy McDougall on July 12, 2026. She was born August 26, 1951, and lived 74 beautiful years.
Nancy married the love of her life John, on February 14th, 1977, and they were married 31 years before his passing.
Nancy and John had five children, Suzie, Kris, Bill, Mike, and Gerk (Michael). She also loved many of her children's friends as her own and treated them as such.
After Nancy's kids got older, she was able to start enjoying her grandchildren and she LOVED being their Nana. She eventually turned into great-grandmother and adored each of them just as much. She was so proud and shared a special bond with each one. She could often be found bragging about how she had 17 grandkids and 11 greats (although she was known as Nana to many more than that).
Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, and shopping. She had always been a fan of Mickey Mouse, Gnomes, and black jellybeans. Although she was never quite sure how it happened, she ended up with a collection of owls and loved every single one that was brought to her.
Nancy will always be remembered for her contagious smile and the way she could fill a room with her laughter. We couldn't have asked for a better Momma or Nana, and we will miss her every day. Her memory will live on in each and every one of our hearts.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, John McDougall, and her daughter, Kris Ann Clayton.
She is survived by her children, Suzie (Mario) Cervantes, Bill McDougall, Mike (Denise) McDougall, and Gerk (Kari) Ricketts, her daughter-in-law Carrie McDougall (Witman), and her many grandchildren, their spouses, and her great-grandchildren.
Join us in saying "Love you, bye" on Thursday July 23, 2026, at The Sanctuary from 2 pm to 5 pm. This will not be a normal service as Nancy did not want anything normal and please dress comfortably. We will have finger foods, swap stories, and hopefully have a few laughs.
