Nancy Ann Turner, 73, of Hillrose, passed away at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, Colorado on Saturday, February 15, 2020.

Nancy was born June 6, 1946 in Ludlow, Vermont to George and Germaine Neil Marro. She met her husband, Preston Turner, in Mount Holly, VT and was married October 30, 1965. They lived in Connecticut where they had their first six children, Annette, Dianne, Darlene, Lori, Lisa, and RJ. After they moved to Colorado in 1977, their youngest, Michael, was born.

Nancy loved being home and raising her kids. Since her husband was a truck driver, she maintained her home and nurtured her children mostly on her own. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and gardening. She was always giving of herself and was willing to serve and help others. When she was older, she enjoyed reading, needlework, and embraced technology as she played games on her iPad. She delighted in conversations with her grandchildren on the phone and being with her family.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Annette (Raymond) Turner of Cape Cod, MA; Dianne (Christian) Milks of Elm Mott, TX; Darlene (Russell) Vick of Hillrose, CO; Lori (Matt) Turner of Proctor, VT; Lisa Pachla of Ludlow, VT; and Michael (Jennifer) Turner of Wellington, CO; her grandbabies, Staci Rae, Thomas (TJ), JR, Preston, Greggory, Anthony, Jackson, Marlisha, Tamara, Dakota, Cody, and Caylee; her great-grandbabies, Skyler, Cheyenne, Montana, Troy, Phoenix, Raelynn, Trevor, Tyler, and Willow. She is also survived by two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, RJ, two brothers, and one sister.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Snyder Bible Church, Snyder, CO at 12:30 pm. Burial following the service in Hugo, CO. Viewing will be Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Heer Mortuaries and Crematory in Brush, CO from 3:00-6:00 pm.
