NATHAN RICHARD RODRIQUEZ, 33, of Brush, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at his home. He was born in Fort Morgan on November 14, 1979 to Richard & Annie (Flores) Rodriquez. Nathan attended schools in Brush where he played football and basketball. He graduated from Brush High School with the class of 1998. Nathan was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and artwork, especially drawing. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan. Nathan is survived by his parents, Richard & Annie Rodriquez of Brush; his brother, Tommy Rodriquez of Denver; two sisters, Sarah Rodriquez of Denver and Selena Rocha of Fort Morgan; his daughter, "Special Princess" Alysa Tara Rodriquez of Fort Morgan; his son, Nathan Rodriquez Jr. of El Paso, TX; and his stepdaughter, Deja Aldama of Fort Morgan. Nathan is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Tom Flores and wife, Mary Lou of Brush, as well as many special aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nathan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lupe Flores; and his paternal grandparents, Vidal & Ermina Rodriquez. Visitation will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush on Thursday, December 13th from 4 – 6 PM. A Rosary Vigil will follow at 7:00 PM at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 14th, also at Saint Mary's Church. Services will conclude at the church. Inurnment will be in Brush Memorial Cemetery on Monday, December 17th at 10:00 AM. Those attending the services are asked to wear Denver Broncos attire in honor of Nathan. Memorial donations may be made to The Alysa and Nathan Rodriquez Jr. Education Fund at Wells Fargo Bank in Fort Morgan.
