Natividad "Nate" Joseph Guzman, 65, of Brush, died Sunday at his home in Brush. He was born December 16, 1945 in Brush to Santos and Celsa Guzman. He served in the United States Air Force serving in Panama. After his time of service, he began his career as a parts manager for the Ford service centers here in Brush, for 15 years in Greeley and then 13 years in Denver. He retired and moved back to Brush. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, shooting, and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his sons, Orlando Guzman of Cheyenne, WY, and Javier Guzman of Superior, CO; his brothers and sisters, Robert Guzman, Santos Guzman Jr, Marlene Acosta and Rose Guzman, all of Brush, Frank Guzman and Benjamin Guzman, both of Brighton, Bea Carrillo and Aurelia Lopez, both of Colorado Springs, Jenny Mejia of Sterling, Virginia Rosales and Gloria Guzman, both of Greeley; two grandchildren and his life long friend, Dorothy Guzman. He was preceded in death by one sister, Angie Torrez; two brothers, Florence Guzman and Floyd Guzman and his parents. A rosary will be Thursday evening at 7 pm at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. A memorial service will be on Friday at 10:30 am also at the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
