Neil E. Hinkle, 75, of Ft. Morgan, died Saturday, September 8, 2007, at the North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, CO. He was born January 13, 1932, in Deer Trail, CO, to Roy & Lucille Hinkle. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement, Neil worked as a contract construction laborer. He had lived in the Fort Morgan community for over 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, reloading ammunition for his guns, reading a variety of types of books, listening to music and playing his guitar. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He worked at the Sanctuary as a janitor and gardener, he also owned a lawn care business. Survivors include 1 sister, Arline Myers of Fort Morgan. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Marvin & Paul, and his parents. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 13, 2007, at 10:30 AM at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
