Nicola "Nikki" Greener, 32, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at her home in Loveland, Co. She was born August 1, 1982, in Denver. Nikki was injured in an automobile accident in 1990 and has had many challenging years. Through all of her adversity, she maintained a strong determination to survive and the joy of her life was meeting and talking with people - she never met a stranger. Survivors include her Mother, Jean Greener of Loveland, CO; her Father Don Greener of Brush, CO; her brothers and sisters, Pamela Burrus of Umbarger, TX, Jay Greener of Fort Collins, CO, Justin Greener of Smyrna, DE, Davina Metzler of Sterling, CO, Daniel Greener, Sara Greener, and Starshine Trujillo all of Denver, CO. Nikki especially enjoyed listening to bird calls and being outdoors. It was hard to determine if she was whistling or if the birds were calling. She enjoyed stories and music on her tape recorder and playing with her beads. A memorial service will be held April 17, 2015, at 10:30 AM at Fairgrounds Park, West Entrance, 700 S. Railroad, Loveland, CO. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held at the Loveland Public Library, 300 N. Adams in the Erion Foundation Community Room (upstairs to the left with elevator access available). A second memorial service will be held April 22, 2015, at 1:00 AM at Heer Mortuary, Brush, CO. The Heer in Brush, CO is entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Gifts and donations may be made to an organization of your choice for special needs children.
