Norma Henson, 82, life long Morgan County resident, died early Saturday morning at the Valley View Villa Care Center in Ft. Morgan. She was born February 1, 1929 in Ft. Morgan to Dewey R. and Ferne Henness. She attended the Ft. Morgan schools and graduated from the Ft. Morgan High School. Norma married Clifford Henson July 1, 1951 in Ft. Morgan. She worked for Montgomery Wards and also kept the books for Clifford's grain hauling business. She was always ready to help anyone she could. She enjoyed taking trips on the weekend with her children and Clifford in the truck, picnicking, and going to the mountains. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchilderen and great- grandchildren. She was an avid Bronco's fan. Her beautiful smile will always be remembered. Norma is survived by her children Sharon Russell, Shirley Harris, and John Henson, all of Ft. Morgan, one brother Dale Henness of Greeley, one sister Naomi Yearous of Brush, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford, one brother Bob Henness, two sisters Marylyn Canfield and Joyce Hansen and her parents. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Heer &Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. The Service will conclude at the chapel. A private inurnment will be at a later date in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
