Norma Lozoya, 44, of Ft. Morgan, died early Sunday morning at her home in Ft. Morgan. She was born April 29, 1967 in Lamesa, Texas to Richard and Tomasa Acosta. Her family moved to Ft. Morgan when she was three years old. She married Ruben Lozoya September 16, 2011 at Saint Helena Catholic Church in Ft. Morgan. She was a loving daughter and wife. Her love was giving to others. She volunteered for the AmeriCorp Vista and was always helping others. She enjoyed music, going to baseball games especially if Ruben was playing, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Ruben of Ft. Morgan, her mother Tomasa of Ft. Morgan, one brother Tony Gutierrez of Las Vegas, NE, and four sisters Elva Pitts of Abilene, KS, Bertha Wilson and Emma Acosta both of Ft. Morgan and Alice Acosta of Kingman, AZ. She was preceded in death by her father Richard. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-7 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan, with a Rosary to begin at 7 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 10:30 am at the Saint Helena Catholic Church in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
