Obituary

Norma P. Richardson, 89, passed away Wednesday, March, 12, 2008, at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan, CO. She was born April 20, 1918, on the family farm near Center, KY, to James D. & Pernie M. Nunn. Following graduation from Center, KY High School in 1939, Norma attended nursing school in Louisville, KY, until she was stricken with polio. On May 3, 1945, Norma married Frank M. Richardson in Louisville, KY. The Richardson's lived in Denver for 29 years, and then moved to LaPorte, CO. After 2 years in LaPorte, they moved to Brush in 1983 to be closer to their daughter and her family. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Brush. Norma volunteered in the activity department at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center for 13 years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing for family and church missions projects, and visiting with family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Marsha Weiss, and her husband, David, of Brush; 2 grandchildren, Deanne Bihler, and her husband Ron; of Centennial, CO; and Mark Weiss and his wife, Debbie; of Benton, Arkansas and 2 great grandchildren, McKenna and Emily Bihler. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 1 brother, and 4 sisters. A private family graveside service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. The Heer Mortuary & Crematory is entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
