Owen F. Ebendorf , 95. passed away early Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the Eben Ezer Luthern Care center in Brush, CO. He was born March 25, 1921 In Galt, MO, to Frederick Ebendorf and Ruby Whitlock. He is survived by his sister Iola Mae Ebendorf (93) of Brush Colorado and her Nephew: Terrel Wyckoff of Brush CO, and his sister Irene Aldridge of Lakewood Co. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Heer Mortuaries & Crematory.

Personal Note and Recollections: He was a most favorite of uncle's. And I had some great uncles on the Wyckoff side. Owen was an amazing guy, a role model for me from childhood on. He always seemed like a walking Bear of a man. With a gentle twinkle in the eyes and that dry Coloradan humor. His nose fascinated me. As a child I would sit on his lap and gazed most fascinatedly at his rather hairy nostrils, since he towered above me. It was most annoying that I inherited his nose (sigh). God and his humor I swear. Owen and Iola and heck me too, Originated from some farm's down close to Last Chance Colorado.
