Pamela R. Hudson, 40, of Haxtun, died suddenly Friday, May 16, 2014 at Haxtun Hospital District. Pamela was born August 31, 1973, in Denver, CO to Virginia Ann Hudson. Pamela attended the Haxtun Community Church, and enjoyed riding her bike, talking on the phone with her friends and spending time with her family. Survivors include 3 brothers, Billy Hudson of Haxtun, Kevin Shultheiss of Denver and Tyler Hudson of Haxtun; 5 sisters, Barbara Rodriguez (Miguel) of Fort Morgan, Shawn Hudson-Hammond of Portland, Or, Virginia Graham (Billy) of Vancouver, WA, Jamie White (Christopher) of San Francisco, CA and Amber Contreras (Caleb) of Denver, CO. She is also survived by her step-mom Christy Hudson, her life partner Mary Patrick, her four children and numerous nieces and nephews. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents Virginia and Harold Hudson Jr., her grandmother Virginia Lurch and her step mother Kathleen Marie Cockrell. Funeral services are planned for a later date.
