Pastor Sam Macias, 50, pastor of Harvest Assembly of God in Brush, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley following a short illness.  He was born March 24, 1971 in Austin, TX to Samuel Macias & San Juanita Sauceda.

Sam married Angela Gaddy in Austin, TX in 1995.  After serving in several positions at the Leander Assembly of God Church in Texas, Angela & Sam moved to Brush to be the pastors of Harvest Assembly of God in 2019.

Sam was an avid sports fanatic - both as a spectator and a participant.  His favorite teams included University of Texas (UT), Florida State, Boston Red Sox, San Francisco Giants and the San Francisco Forty-Niners.

He truly loved serving his Lord & Savior.

Survivors include his wife, Angela, 2 brothers Rosendo Macias & Xaviar Macias, Xavier's Girlfriend Jill Daugherty.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 28th, 2021 at the Brush High School Auditorium (enter in the entrance near the south east parking lot) at 10:30 AM.  The service will conclude at the school with a reception.
