Patricia L. Hocheder, 67, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center following an extended illness. She was born November 17, 1946, in Denver to Charles & Alice Carlos. On August 8, 1964, Pat married Albert Hocheder in Louisville, CO. In 1979 they moved to Morgan County. Pat loved spending time with her family. Before health issues affected her, she was an active member of Christ Congregational Church. She also attended the Snyder Bible Church. She also enjoyed working for her daughter, Rhonda Staley, at the Business Mart. Survivors include her 3 children, Dale (Julie) Hocheder of Hillrose; Rhonda (Mike) Staley and Brenda (Scott) Groves of Fort Morgan; her Mother, Alice Carlos of Grand Junction, CO; 1 brother, Kenneth Carlos of DeBeque, CO, Cindy Frazee of Salmon, ID, Paulette Sandifer of Anderson, CA, and Penny Sandifer of TX; 6 grandchildren, Katie, Karla, Kaleb (Kelsey), Kendal (Whitney), Ethan and Savanah; and 1 great grandson, Cole. Also, by four special ladies, Cheryl, Pat, Faye, and Jan. She was preceded in death by her Father, Charles Carlos; and 1 sister, Peggy Roundtree. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan. The service will conclude at the church. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Christ Congregational Church.
