PAULINE COVELLI, 99, lifelong area resident, died Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born May 7, 1910 in Tacoma, WA to Henry & Mary Thiel. The family moved to the area when she was very young. She married Kelly Covelli on February 12, 1927 in Denver. Mrs. Covelli was a member of Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan. She enjoyed sewing, making bread, and doing laundry. She is survived by three sons, Raymond Covelli and Terry Covelli, both of Weldona and Ronald Covelli of Greeley. There are also 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Covelli was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Henry, Carl, Reiny, Adam, John, and Alex; and her husband, Kelly Covelli. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 7th at 2:00 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. Memorial gifts may be made to Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
