Paulita Arguello, beloved mother, and grandmother of Fort Morgan, passed away on June 24, 2023.

She was born in January 1927 in Mosquero, NM to Francisco & Luciana Martinez. She married Mateo Arguello, and they had 16 children. The family moved to Fort Morgan in 1965.

Paulita loved living in the country. She especially enjoyed gardening and anything to do with the outdoors.

She is survived by 10 children, 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and 1 sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 6 children, 5 brothers, 1 sister, and 2 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 6th from 4 – 6 PM with recitation of the Holy Rosary, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 7th at 2:00 PM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. There will be a gathering at the church after the Interment.
