Pearl Ila Guilliams Wyckoff passed away at her home on September 13, 2015. She was born March 11, 1919 in Washington County, Colorado, north of Genoa, to Allen Joshua Guilliams and Eathel Angeline Bundren. Pearl was the sixth of eight children. The family lived on their homestead near Glenn, Colorado until they moved to Briggsdale, Colorado in 1927. Pearl graduated from Briggsdale High School in May 1937 after she secretly married Clifford M. Wyckoff March 6, 1937. Pearl and Clifford lived for a short time in Northern California before returning to farm 20 miles north of Genoa in 1939. They moved one mile east in 1967 and made their home at the original Wyckoff homestead until 1975 when Clifford was killed in a car accident. In 1976 Pearl moved to Arvada, Colorado where she and her family owned Happy Valley Children's Ranch Preschool west of Arvada. Pearl worked at her preschool until 1998 when she retired at age 79 and moved to her home at 440 Harvard Street in Brush, Colorado. Pearl is survived by her daughter, Linda and Gary Blomenkamp of Brush; and her son, Reggie and Robbie Wyckoff of Genoa; six grandchildren: Leigh Brown and Mark of Parker, Kandie and Doug Compton of Brush, Amy and Sherwyn Phillip of Colorado Springs, Bobbie Joe and Dean Mesmer of Brush, Josh and Lori Wyckoff of Garden City, KS, and Gale and Tami Blomenkamp of Columbia, Missouri. Pearl is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford, all of her siblings and their spouses and all of her husband's siblings and their spouses. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 16th at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church, 345 Princeton Street in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery and then a meal will be provided at the Trinity Baptist Church.
