Pete Garcia, 86, a longtime resident of Fort Morgan passed away on Saturday January 7, 2023 in Fort Morgan.

Music was Pete's passion; He loved singing, and composing his own songs, and loved sharing his beautiful voice with everyone. He also loved dancing with his beautiful wife, Lena. One of his hobbies was leather work, and he also enjoyed riding his horse in his younger years.

Pete is survived by his daughters, Ava Parra (Juan) from Glenwood Springs, CO and his youngest daughter Belinda Garcia of Fort Morgan; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; one brother and five sisters.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rafalita Garcia; his father, Pedro Garcia and his mother Elfida; his wife, Lena; and his son Pete Jr. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. May he Rest in Eternal Peace.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12 ^th , 2023 from 4-6 PM at Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan, followed with Recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Saint Helena Catholic Church on Friday January 13th, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
