Phillip A. McFarland, 34, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017. He was born September 18, 1982, in Scottsbluff, NE to Kenneth & Glenda McFarland.

Phillip has lived in Morgan County since 1990. Phillip graduated from Weldona High School. On June 6, 2011, Phillip married Crystal Wilson in Fort Morgan.   At time of his death, Phillip worked as a welder & contractor.

Phillip enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, woodworking and playing disc golf.

Survivors include his wife, Crystal; children, Austin, Shyanne, and Dayton; his parents, Glenda (Doug) Pratt of Alliance, NE and Lavern (Virginia) Peters of Kimball, NE; brothers, Jad (Heidi) Bergon of Sutton, NE, Kevin (Connie) McFarland of Alliance, NE, and Nick (Sarah) McFarland of Friona, TX; step siblings, Jason (Ann) Peters of Gering, NE; Tammie Herman and Paula Sanchez both of Kimball, NE. Mr and Mrs Glen Ward of Alliance NE.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 2:00 PM at the Prairie Winds Church, 118 Dickson Street in Wiggins, CO. The Heer Mortuary & Crematory is entrusted with cremation arrangements.
