Phoebe Elizabeth McFarland was born April 26, 1992 in Fort Morgan, CO to Randy McFarland and Tami Chapman. At an early age, Phoebe was known to be honest, candid and passionate about everything she believed in. Her love of music was heard through her voice, guitar and drums, in addition to her passion for drawing and poetry. Phoebe touched the lives of many people and had many friends, among those was her fiance, Joseph Groblebe, her friends in Lakewood where she resided, as well as her friends in Morgan County. Phoebe was surrounded by a loving family, both in Morgan County and Lakewood. She is survived by her fiance, Joseph, of Lakewood, her mother and step-father, Tami and Garry Chapman of Brush, her father, Randy McFarland of Fort Morgan, her mother-in-law, Diane Groblebe and father-in-law, Jay Groblebe, her sister-in-law, Desiree, all of Lakewood. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Russell McFarland and Adrian, Naomi and Trevor Cook, Justina, Danielle, John and Mike McFarland, all of Brush. Phoebe's grandparents include Danette Winkler of Wiggins, Betty Harless and Charles McFarland of Fort Morgan. She is also survived by a ship load of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and the many chosen friends. Phoebe is preceded in death by her grandfather, Art Winkler, grandmother, Terry Young, great grandparents, Wilda and Lyle Harless, Dan and Faye Edelman, Art and Lucy Winkler and a cousin, Haley Wiley. Viewing will be Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Brush. A memorial service will be held at Life Fellowship in Fort Morgan, Monday, November 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life immediately following the service. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Chapman/McFarland name at Life Fellowship.
