PRESTON SCOTT HANEY, 67, of Fort Morgan, died Saturday, September 12th at his home. He was born September 10, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA to George & Nella (Taite) Haney. Haney had worked in Hollywood at Screen Jims and Orion Pictures, beginning in the 1960's. He moved to Fort Morgan from Arizona in 1996. He worked as the night auditor at the Super 8 Motel in Fort Morgan for 12 years before declining health forced his retirement. Mr. Haney was an avid photographer and he enjoyed spending time on the computer. In his younger years he especially enjoyed rabbit hunting with his son. He is survived by his son, Chris Haney and two grandchildren, all of Fort Morgan. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Family and friends will have a small gathering in his memory. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of cremation arrangements.
