Allen Walker, 56, former Brush area resident, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015, at the inpatient hospice unit at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born February 8, 1959, in Greeley, to Bob & Mary Walker.

The Walker family moved to Brush where Allen attended Brush schools. He graduated from Brush High School in 1977. He later attended Aimes Community College.   Allen worked for several years with his father at Livestock Exchange and the Walker farm. Before being disabled, Allen worked in the oilfields. Allen enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his wife & grandkids, gardening and having a cold drink J. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge of Morgan County.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy of LaSalle, CO; 3 children, Allison Groves, Bobby Walker and Kevin Walker all of Brush; 1 brother, John; 3 grandchildren, and 10 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held Monday, December 14, 2015, at 10:30 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. The service will conclude at the mortuary.
