Racheal Bath, 89, lifelong area resident, passed away March 28, 2014, at the Valley View Villa Care Center in Ft. Morgan. Born April 11, 1924 in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Henry Michael and Elizabeth (Schlagel) Cook, Racheal was raised a farm girl, graduated from Fort Morgan High School with the class of 1942 where she was recognized scholastically and athletically, was united in marriage to Harold George Bath and had a thirty year career as a local optician. Racheal was a lifetime active member of the Christ congregational Church, where she was baptized and confirmed, volunteered her time and talents for her community and was a devoted homemaker and landscaper. Survivors include son, Randolph Robert, widowed daughter-in-law, Sherrill Bath Pavy; brothers, Herman and Victor, grandchildren Brenda Zion (W.Early), Jennifer Ramsey (Bo), Christopher Bath, Benjamen Bath, Rebecca Wilburn (Rob), and six great grandchildren. Racheal was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Kenneth Harold, grandson Bryan Alden, brothers, John, Carl, Frederick, and Alexander, and sisters, Pauline, Hannah and Elizabeth.
