Rafelita M. Rangel, 78, longtime Morgan County resident, passed away Sunday August 01, 2021 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.

Rafe was born August 01, 1943 in El Carmen, New Mexico to Juan and Eusebia Martinez.

Rafe was a custodian for the RE-3 School District for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed music, food, family, and her job. She was member of Saint Helena's Catholic Church.

Rafelita is survived by her loving husband, Ray Rangel; her son, Ray Rangel Jr.; and her daughter, Lisa Rangel.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 4-6 PM at Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Recitation of The Holy Rosary will follow at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
