Randy Lee Sagel, lifelong area resident lost his fight with cancer on November 11, 2024. He was born to Fred and Donna Sagel on May 13 1954.

Randy attended Weldon Valley schools through 11th grade. He graduated from Ft. Morgan High School in 1972.

Upon graduation he farmed with his dad Fred Sagel on their family farm. He worked at Great Western Sugar until retirement.

He married Roxane Hixon in 1974. From this union they had a daughter Alisha. He had two grandchildren, Jason and Jayden Renka.

Randy was a three-sport athlete in Weldona and played softball for many years as an adult. He loved music attending many concerts. He loved muscle cars. He collected arrow heads; he loved to garden and farm. He enjoyed watching and attending Bronco games. He enjoyed bowling and playing corn hole. He had many dogs that he loved throughout his life.

Randy had many friends and was a kind and gentle man.

Above all he loved his family. He is survived by his daughter, Alisha (Shawn) Lunde; grandson, Jayden Renka; sister, Rhonda (Linn) Frasier; nephew, Dan (Christina) Frasier, Ethan, Josiah, Elijah, Jonathan Frasier, niece Janelle (Aaron) Bongard, Micah, and Zoe Bongard. Also, Wyatt Beauprez became a loving member of Randy's family. Also survived by many cousins. He had a special lifelong friendship with cousin Kenney Hoffmann.

He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Donna Sagel, his grandson Jason Renka. He has lost many cousins and all of his aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25, at 10:30 am, at Immanuel Evangelical Church, 318 west 7th Ave., in Fort Morgan CO.
