Raquel Ramirez, 67, passed away Thursday, September 8, at the inpatient unit at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born April 2, 1943, in Mexico. Raquel has lived in Fort Morgan area for the past 18 years. She was a member of Saint Helena Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved participating in all sports, especially playing volleyball. Survivors include her children, Eduardo, Rauel, Claudia, and Hector all of Mexico, and Sergio of Fort Morgan; 2 brothers, Juan Jose Ramirez and Hector Ramirez both of Mexico, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 – 6 on Thursday at the Heer & Dahl Chapel in Fort Morgan. A rosary and vigil service will follow at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 12:00 noon at Saint Helena Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
