Raymond Diaz Jr. 52, formerly of Ft. Morgan, passed away February 11, 2010 at his sister's home in Colorado Springs. He was born April 27, 1957 in Denver to Ramon and Sara (Torrez) Diaz. Raymond was a member of the Door Christian Center in Colorado Springs. He enjoyed drawing, working on cars and loved spending time with his children. Survivors include one son, JimiRay Diaz of Pueblo, one daughter, Sonya A. Diaz of Denver, brothers, Robert Diaz of Ft. Morgan, Ben I. Diaz of Loveland and Joe J. Diaz of Pueblo, sisters, Mary L. Diaz and Ramona S. Castillo both of Ft. Morgan, Rose V. Diaz of Michigan and Cookie Vasquez of Colorado Springs. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Toni Tamburello. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 4 until 7 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Sevices will be Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 10:30 am at the New Creation Church in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts in Raymond's name in care of the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan.
