Raymond R. Hanson, 63, lifetime Colorado resident, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at his home in Brush. He was born May 22, 1952 in Denver, CO.

Ray was raised by his great grandmother, Lucinda Overton, until he was 12 years old. He was then raised by Lawrence and Iris Helget. Ray was very knowledgeable when it came to computers. He also enjoyed photography, traveling, and the Broncos. Ray loved spending time with his family and never had enough time with his granddaughter Audre.

Survivors include his wife, Elva; daughter, Kristi L. Hanson; son, Shawn R. Hanson; granddaughter, Audre Radiana; mother, Iris Helget; sister, Linda Dinkel and his brother, Richard Huhman. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Helget; great grandmother, Lucinda Overton; sisters, Billie George, and Barbara Bell.

A Memorial service will be held at the Heer Chapel in Fort Morgan at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 28, 2016.
