Raymond Eugene Mann passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 of a massive heart attack.

Ray was born December 13, 1966 to Terry & Verlene (Boren) Mann. He loved his tribe fiercely; especially his wife, Tess. The two were inseparable and you seldom saw one without the other. They enjoyed hunting and fishing together, bowling on Friday nights, rock hounding, and traveling.

Ray never "worked" a day in his life because the passion he had for what we did as a lineman.

Those he cherished and left behind include his wife, Tess; his parents, Terry & Verlene; his sister, Ronda Musgrave and her husband, Chad; Ray's nephews, Frank and Tom; and his niece, Shelby, all of whom he was so proud of and spoke of often; his daughter, Kaley Hunter and her husband, Michale; grandchildren, Jack, Jenna, James, and soon to arrive, Rayne Marie, named after her Papa Ray; his daughter, Shalee Woodward and her husband, Bryant; grandchildren, Bentley and Ray's "Birthday Buddy", Willow; his son, Dillon Howton and his wife Tayla; and his daughter, Lexi Mann; grandchildren (Justin's children), Lindsey, Zoey, and Terrance.

Ray was tripped, walking through the pearly gates by his son, Justin, who he missed terribly. Also, there to greet him are his grandparents, Tom & Mildred Boren and Gordon & Hazel Holton; uncle, Ron Boren and uncle, Cecil & aunt, Lois Forbes.

An informal celebration of Ray's life and a light lunch will be held in the shop behind the new Morgan County R.E.A. building at 734 Barlow Road in Fort Morgan on Wednesday, December 22 ^nd at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, Tess asks that donations in Ray's memory be used for a scholarship for line school. Donations can be made out to Tess Mann and sent to Heer Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, CO 80701.
