Obituary

Raymond Irving Miller, 87, of Fort Morgan passed away peacefully Monday, February 20, 2017, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO.  He was born in Draper, SD to Albert and Lillian Miller.

Ray graduated from Draper High School in 1948.  In 1955, he married the love of his life, Gloria Frei in Greeley, CO.  They have been married 61 years.

Ray was a lifetime member of the Fort Morgan Elks Lodge 1143 and an NRA member.  He worked for a grain company and drove a truck. Ray enjoyed being outdoors and spending time in the yard.  He had a special interest in tractors and steam engines as well.  He was a people person, who would talk with anyone. Ray loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Miller; sister, Shirley Epple; two brothers, Don and Delmer Miller; daughter in law, Catherine Miller, and two granddaughters, Alyssa Frisbie and Lauren Miller.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, Rodney and Roger Miller; two brothers, and his parents.

A memorial service will be Monday, March 20, 2017, at 10:00AM at United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan, CO. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fort Morgan United Methodist Church.
