Rebecca A. Bowman, 73, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013, at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. She was born February 18, 1940, to Dr. Thomas W. & Sidney Hamill. Rebecca has lived in Morgan County for over 20 years. Prior to retirement, she worked for Superior Livestock Company. She enjoyed quilting and working in her flower garden. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Judy Shay, and her husband Edward of Amarillo, TX, and Tommie Segelke, and her husband Dean of Fort Morgan; 1 sister, Patricia Suzan Wattie of California; and 4 grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, Clair, and Bo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin Bowman, and 1 son, Lee Shea Jr. A funeral service will be held at the Heer Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, September 4, at 2:00 PM. The service will conclude at the Mortuary. Concluding services and interment will be in the Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, TX.
