Rene Henry 43, died of injuries suffered in a 2 vehicle crash on Friday, January 3, 2014; The accident occurred at MCR 24 & MCR U.5. Rene was born December 10, 1970, in Fort Collins.. Rene's family lived in several different communities in eastern Colorado including Lamar, and Yuma. They moved to Fort Morgan in 1989. Rene graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1990. Rene worked for several years at the Brush News Tribune. She later went to work for Schwan's Home Service, where she was working at the time of her death. Rene will be remembered for her love of people and her sense of humor. Survivors include her husband, Rick Henry of Brush; 4 children, Brittany Lucero of Florida, Bryan Schlegel of Fort Morgan, Devon Henry of Avondale, AZ, and Mason Henry of Brush; her Father, Robbie Kinion of Stateburg, SC, her mother & dad, Susan & Sam Branom of Fort Morgan; 2 brothers, Darrin Kinion of Snyder and Matthew Branom of Eaton; and 1 sister Samantha Cottrel of Alamogordo, NM; her maternal grandmother, Betty Olson of Fort Collins and 4 grandchildren, Serenity, Sadie, Phoenix and Scottie. A memorial service will be held at the Brush High School Auditorium on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:30 PM. A reception will follow the service in the High School Commons. The service will conclude at the school. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Brush Beaver School Special Education Program c/o the Heer Mortuary.
