Renee E. Sherwood, 39, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora.

She was born in Fort Morgan on November 15, 1976 to Raymond & Rafe Rangel. She attended Fort Morgan schools and later worked as an X-Ray Tech.

Renee enjoyed traveling, hiking, and fishing. She was an avid Rockies and Nuggets fan.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Sherwood of Aurora; her parents, Raymond & Rafe Rangel of Log Lane Village; her sister, Lisa Rangel, also of Log Lane; her brother, Raymond John Rangel (Nicole) of Lakewood; and her niece, Mireya Rangel.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 6th from 3 – 6 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 6:00 PM, also at the mortuary.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 7th at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
