Richard Henry Brandt, 67, lifelong area resident, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at his home in Fort Morgan. Richard was born October 24, 1947 in Ft. Morgan to Henry and Frieda (Eckes) Brandt. Richard served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam conflict. He loved cars. He bought a1956 Chevy Belair, which was his pride and joy, before he went to Viet Nam. Richard enjoyed detailing and working on his own cars. He also detailed other people's cars. He was a good son and took care of his parents when they were in their later years. Survivors include several cousins in the Denver area. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside Memorial Services will be Friday, December 19, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Memory Gardens in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow the services.
