Richard E. Ferguson Jr., 51, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014. He was born July 6, 1962, in Fort Morgan to Dick & Marjorie Ferguson. Richard married Deb Groves on July 3, 1983, in Fort Morgan. He drove truck for the majority of his working life, enjoyed fishing, working in his shop, and spending time with his granddaughters. Richard was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Deb; 2 children, Kortney Ferguson & Dustin Ferguson all of Fort Morgan; his parents, Dick & Marjorie Ferguson of Fort Morgan; 2 sisters, Karen Potts of Fort Morgan and Teena Marick of Brush; 2 granddaughters, Alexis & Bailey Ferguson; his maternal grandmother, Martha Filla of Akron, CO; his sister-in-law, Dawn (Andy) Gerken of Fort Morgan; his brothers-in-law, Pat Groves of Orchard, & Mike (Erika) Groves of Weldona; and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 11th at 10:30 AM at the United Presbyterian Church in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will be in Serenity Falls Columbarium in Fort Morgan on Thursday morning.
