Richard D. Funk, 76, former Antelope Springs area resident, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at the Arlington, TX, Memorial Hospital. He was born August 30, 1938, in Brush to Orville & Wanda Funk. Dick graduated from Snyder High School in 1956. He worked as a System Analyst for Northwest Airlines for many years. Most recently he has worked as a courier in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. Survivors include his wife, Janice Craighton of Arlington, TX; 3 sons, Russell of Phoenix, AZ; Randall of Camas, WA; and Ronald of Bethany, OK; 1 brother, Jerry Funk of Merino, CO; 1 sister, Nancy Kelly of Brush; and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Les Funk; and 1 nephew, Brad Funk. Funeral services will be Monday, October 13, 2014, at 1:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
