Obituary

Richard Blaine Hass passed away in the comfort of his home on May 10, 2025, in Brush, Colorado. Blaine was born in Brush in 1962 to Richard and Kathy Hass. During his childhood, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and many other outdoor activities with his brother, Derek, and his parents. One of his father's favorite memories was carrying his boys for miles while arrowhead hunting. Blaine graduated from Brush Highschool, Class of 1980.

Blaine had several different places of employment throughout his life. During high school, he helped his father work at Hass Construction. He then worked at Excel Beef for a total of 11 years, working his way up to the position of Offal Supervisor. After that, Blaine painted at JD'Z Autobody for two years before reaching his final career at Weathercraft, where he worked for the past 26 years.

Blaine enjoyed his career at Weathercraft and the people he worked with. When he wasn't at work you could find him hunting, fishing, clay shooting, and spending time with family. Blaine loved the lake, this included boating and water sports. He enjoyed teaching his kids and grandkids to love the outdoors. Most of his children now enjoy the same hobbies with their children.

Blaine was known for his dependability to his family and friends, his caring heart, and his hard work ethic. He was a loving and caring grandfather who was proud of his grandchildren. Blaine was always there with a caring heart and an open ear. His down-to-earth perspective allowed him to give the best advice. He always told you how proud he was and how much he cared about you. He took great care of his parents, helping them with anything and everything. He cherished the time that he had with family and friends.

Blaine is survived by his parents, Richard and Kathy Hass; Brother, Derek (Morgan) Hass; Children, Arik Hass, Trenton (Sheryl) Hass, and Chandra Hass; Grandchildren, Kaden, Roxanna, Valerie, Amberlee, and Brooklyne, Nieces and Nephews, Dustin, Nevaeh, Alexandrea, and Drake. He was preceded in death by Jake and Molly Linker, Okla and Irene Hass.
