Richard Dwayne Hoffman, 72, lifelong area resident, died Friday, May 9, 2008 at the Valley View Villa Care Center in Ft. Morgan. Richard was born January 21, 1936 to Fred and Emilie (Frederick) Hoffman on the family farm Northeast of Ft. Morgan. His family raised beans, corn, hay and sugar beets. He has lived on that same farm for over 63 years. Mr. Hoffman married Rosemary Huston on July 17, 1970 in Ft. Morgan. Richard was a lifelong member of the Christ Congregational Church. He enjoyed watching the Broncos, eating out and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Rosemary of Ft. Morgan, one son, Lanny Huston of Evans, one daughter, Lona Huston of Delavan, Wisconsin, two sisters, Marge Ruppel of Ft. Morgan and Carolyn Walker of Denver, one brother Elmer Hoffman of Ft. Morgan and three grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marion Finkner Visitation will be Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 2 until 5 PM at the Heer Morturary Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Memorial Gifts to either the Christ Congregational Church in Ft. Morgan or to the American Heart Association The Heer Mortuary in Ft.
