Richard Lewis Kitterman, 89, longtime area resident, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. He was born March 25, 1923 in Glenwood, Missouri to Richard and Hattie Kitterman. He married Wanda M. Moore on March 28, 1945 in Hiawatha, Kansas. Richard was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Ft. Morgan, a Life Member of the local Elks Lodge, and a member of the IOOF. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include, his wife Wanda of Ft. Morgan, two daughters, Sharon Robison and Cheryl Reilly both of Ft. Morgan, two sons, Richard W. Kitterman of Deer Park, Texas and Robert Kitterman of Kuna, Idaho, nine grandchildren, Steve Robison, Christina Anderson, Robert Lee Kitterman Jr., Amanda Baker, Blake Kitterman, Jeremy Reilly, Christopher Reilly, Brad Reilly and Abbie James, and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Marie Hovar. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Serenity Falls Columbarium in Ft. Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Falls. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
